COMPOSITION

Lactic acid

  • Best tolerated of the AHA’s by sensitive skin. 
  • It is an integral component of the Skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF).
  • Naturally occurs in human skin.

Azelaic acid

  • Dicarboxylic acid is naturally derived from grains.
  • Acts as a tyrosinase inhibitor.
  • Useful for both comedonal & inflammatory acne.

Citric acid

  • Helps protect the skin’s barrier function by maintaining the optimum level of acidic pH in areas of the skin that are essential for normal skin barrier function.

Hexylresorcinol

  • A potent tyrosinase inhibitor.
  • Clinically proven to be four times more effective than Hydroquinone in lightening skin.

Salicylic acid

  • Desquamates the upper lipophilic layers of stratum corneum.

Phytic acid

  • Phytic acid is high in antioxidants and helps fight free radicals, which are thought to contribute to premature skin aging.

Kojic acid

  • A fungal metabolic product, kojic acid is a potent tyrosinase inhibitor.
