Composition

  • 20% Salicylic Acid
    - Salicylic acid (ortho-hydroxybenzoic acid) is a beta hydroxy acid agent.
    - It is a lipophilic compound which removes intercellular lipids
    - It has also been shown to have Keratolytic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial
      properties which reduce Sebum production.
    - Self-neutralized by the skin’s endogenous lipoproteins.
  • 22% Mandelic Acid
    - Mandelic acid is a type of simple phenolic alpha hydroxy acid that’s extracted
      from bitter almonds.
    - Powerful yet a gentle exfoliator that breaks up the tiny bonds between dead
      cells at the skin’s surface.
    - Penetration takes time as the size of the molecules is large, hence causing less irritation.
    - Soluble in both water and polar organic solutions.
